Shizzle is quite heavily performance optimized. I'd be interested to see how the selector performance of both compare.

Very clean interface, but so far I couldn't see any added value over the built-in sharing feature in Dropbox.

Github never ceases to amaze me. Despite all the features Github has, it still manages to maintain an incredibly light and intuitive UI. EDIT: s/seizes/ceases/

Setting up a working file server with basic authentication is almost enough to confirm this. There might be valid reasons for all of the configuration options, but the avarage user will never need more than 10% of them.

Why does Techcrunch never provide any deeplinks? It's annoying as hell.

I meant to write GIL, obviously. Errors like this happen, when you type "git" about 200 times a day.

As web applications usually don't do much number crunching, the GIT is even more meaningless in that decision. Threading to avoid IO-blocking doesn't trigger the GIL at all and that is what you have to deal with in web apps.

The update requires direct user action (including a reboot) anyways, so I'd rather encourage them to upgrade to FF 4, Chrome or Opera.

Rapportive is doing a great job for me. Whenever I get an email from an unknown person, it's great to have some context. For example, I got a couple of bug reports via mail last month regarding a piece of software I wrote. By having the twi

I like the new logo, but I didn't expect to see a logo change of the official Chrome that early. There are still a lot of advertisements showing the old logo around in my city.

It works perfectly fine in Chrome, but runs very sluggish compared to FF4. Does anyone know which particular part is so much faster in Firefox?

I love interactive tutorials! I wish there would be one for python I could pass around (is there?). The timeouts on this particular page could use some tweaking, though.

I heard about this for the first time on J. J. Abram's Alias and researched it. I was quite surprised to see that it's real.

I'm really glad I could convince a good part of my family to contact me via email. I'd rather ditch the telephone in favor of email than the other way around.

Amazing! Rian Hunter from Dropbox mentioned his vision about apps in this style in his talk at PyCon, that is very interesting in general: http://pycon.blip.tv/file/4878722/

The nuclear power plants in Germany are a mess. Negative findings of investigations magically disappear, threats like earth quakes are simply ignored. The pre-defined runtimes are exceeded and still most of them are running. Turning these o

The search feature you note is by far my favorite part. Finding good resources on very specific topics can be really hard using google, but delicious has always been an incredibly accurate source for those.
