"Did they bother heading his warning? No. Instead, they laughed in his face." The company that makes valvoline, Ashland Inc., seems to be at an all time high. It's going to be a long time before synthetic oil companies are not needed. I don

If you see the government as a solution to social issues I do not think you would vote Libertarian.

by cglace 14y ago
Socially, yes they are "left" of Obama. Where they differ on all positions is the roll of the government to remedy social and financial problems.

I will never understand anyone who votes for the Libertarian candidate and then says their other choice was the far more progressive option. Is it because both are the contrarian play to something else?

by cglace 14y ago
I don't think they are misinformed. Their interests do not necessarily have to be aligned with what is best for the US.

Right, once I got on a schedule I felt pretty bad when I didn't get in my daily lift.

I agree. I always feel great after a heavy set of power cleans or deadlift.

The incremental value is entirely dependent on the person buying the car. I've owned a mercedes for 8 years and when I drive other peoples cars I go crazy because of the little things I take for granted in my car.

You may not be able to teach climate science without Spectroscopy and Thermodynamics but the converse isn't true. We aren't going to produce better engineers and physicists because we threw in a few weeks on thermohaline circulation.
