There are other studies with interesting results in the article and it is good intuition that we survived for thousands of years stark naked without sunscreen and vitamin suplements. One interesting paragraph was: "When you spend much

This is great! Coming from Windows I am always annoyed when cmd-tab does not restore a minimized window in MacOS. I don't really understand the logic of it. If the app window is minimized it is obvious (to me) that it should be restore

This is what I do too. I web host a couple of sites for friends locally but when I have an overnight lightning alert I notify them, turn off everything and pull the plugs.

If you are a contractor it is not that bad. You can also use that time to do a small side project and put it in your CV.

Yes that was the word I was looking for. I gave away my last monster CRT 20 years ago and these things fade away from memory. Thanks!

Canon has an app for that. Actually, a couple of apps for Android and iPhone. They also have desktop apps (mac and pc) that I use to control everything from focus to shutter speed, etc. Very useful to nail the focus on a large screen for re

For me it is not a matter of obsession, I just enjoy using the equipment. I also take loads of photographies with an iPhone and an Android phone and, invariably, they fall short of the full frame or APS images. Specially when you print them

I have an XE 4 and I also investigated the possibility but they don't even provide headers for all the models. I would have to buy one of the few supported models to be able to play with the SDK. They are missing a big oportunity and w

Highly trained is the operational word here, untrained Malinois are a nightmare. I agree with the above for most dogs, trained they are fine but most dogs are not trained and not very easy to control in unfamiliar surroundings.
