I'm on Firefox and it has a pretty deep blue for highlight color. Maybe it's an accessibility concern of the browser as opposed to HN? I don't think making the text lighter interferes with screen readers for example.

I know Dasung makes the Paperlike, which is an E-ink external monitor. It's terribly expensive though, at about a grand for a 13 inch one.

Considering how expensive E-ink based products are, I'm not really surprised that it sold.

Any plans to support a DT-1990 or HD-600s? I was wondering if the Beyer build may be better but I have no idea what drivers are in these; should I go with the AT build that you mentioned? (I'm mostly interested in gaming and media cons

I'll also mention Steelcase Leap as an alternative. Depending on the location, it might not have as much of premium in the used market as the Aeron. (I believe you can remove the armrests, but I haven't personally tried.) Both are

The lifetime cycle on e-ink is really discouraging me from pulling the trigger, especially at that price point.

Thank you for the correction, I must have been on autopilot. That would be far more appropriate.

Depends on what part you focus on, it's an RLCD so it isn't based on e-Ink tech. Like an e-Ink though, it can be used in direct sunlight since it just uses ambient light. (Maybe it'll have a backlight like the Kindle Paperwhi

I love Hetzner dedicated server offerings since the price can't be beat, but they have mediocre peering/connection speeds. Granted I'm in Japan, but I get like 1/12th the speed I do from an Scaleway dedi in France.

(Disclaimer, I have not used the app) Presumably it outputs multiple images combined as a pdf/word as opposed to just images.

Only tangentially related, but I have heard the urban legend that game OSTs are by design meant to get you to be more focused at the other task at hand (usually gameplay). I wonder if it could actually increase your focus if you had the mus

Looks very useful, since I usually can't remember to tag individual pages, but can usually remember the domain. This would drastically reduce my cognitive load. That being said, I must be that guy and ask: Will there be a Firefox add

This looks fantastic! We usually use Discord's share screen feature, but having more options are always nice, and I assume I can up the resolution/bitrate as I need since it's based on an OBS stream.

It might depend on your IP and other factors. I tried to make a new one about a year ago and could not do it without phone verification. Maybe they'll let you sign up without a phone number via Tor or something though. It's not ju

Considering how often GameBoys are used for chiptunes, maybe there's a crowd of people that want this emulated? In any case, even if it doesn't have an inherent use, I still think it's rather cool.

Economy isn't doing so well, maybe he needed money quickly. Doesn't seem like it'd be worth the trouble to do that for 500 bucks.

I saw people that decided to not jump into Stadia claiming it was another one of Google's abondonware projects. I really hope they fix the issues and try to push gaming forward. I personally think it can be huge here in Japan if done r

Praying doesn't really carry Christian connotations on its own though. I, as a fairly non religiously affiliated Japanese person, would think of "praying" as something along the lines of "wishing for someone's well
