Skim milk is not "low fat". It is fat free. In the US milk labeled as low fat is 1% or 2% milk fat (usually 2%). Whole milk is around 4%. Skim milk rounds to 0%. 2% milk is a pretty good balance.

Cinnamon and MATE are the directions I’d have preferred for Gnome to go. It’s a good thing devs like this aren’t designing cars. I really don’t want to steer my car with the foot pedals and throttle with my hands.

I think you might be surprised at how heavily SNI is leveraged at places like GoDaddy, Bluehost, and other similar providers to host sites from hundreds of completely unrelated businesses on the same IP address.

A recent example is the Wicked movie musical. It’s not a film and its sequel. It’s two parts of the stage musical produced as a film and cut in half, released a year apart. The alternative is the 1980s version of Dune, which tried to fit a

People do have tools to make things more readable. Some of those tools are professionally designed fonts and typefaces which are easier for people with low vision to read. You sound like someone saying we shouldn’t have ramps and elevators

Rust is being used a lot in video and audio processing where C and C++ had been the main players. Fixed-latency streaming is not really the best place for Go, Java, or Python.

Planes are quite sensitive to engine failure during flight. Data centers don’t tend to fly for three hours then sit idle for an hour, then sit idle overnight. They need to be up 24/7. When you’re talking 40 or 50 megawatts, you’re not

If we could do over, web browsers should have supported two document formats from the beginning - HTML for plain text markup and the preexisting Turing-complete formatting language of either PostScript or encapsulated PostScript.

You can emulate recursion with iteration and a push-down stack. If it doesn’t either recurse or offer both iterations (loops) and something that can act as a stack (at least an array or so) then it’s not Turing complete though. I have yet t

The case sensitivity or case insensitivity of a token is an implementation detail. I also haven’t seen evidence that the Markov function definitionally can’t use a lookup table of synonyms when predicting the next token.
