It is funny that after all their tech advancements, the site is struggling under heavy load.

I think the trick is to limit programmatic usage as Anthropic did. This way, power users' usage is uneven, allowing the model you describe.

I give Codex a try with every new version, and we don't match, so this isn't true for everyone. Claude would need to be much more expensive for me to switch.

If you ask it to return only data with references, it will do so.

The post is an ad, the content is AI slop, and I would bet the App is vibecoded. I wonder where this is all going in a few years.

This will remain a persistent problem without a definitive answer until models move from generative tools to actual AI.

Not shipping enough is how they die, too. It's hard to find a balance.

Some of that is debasement, but some of that is that there is no other brand like Apple. Would you not own stock of the most valuable brand in human history?

I wonder if this will have the opposite effect and produce something similar to antibiotic resistance, making Ais better at handling "poison."

Yeah, it is easier to destroy than to create. Models will always be better at hacking than at building.

Harness is a big one, Claude Code still has trouble editing files with tabs. I wonder how many tokens per day are wasted on Claude attempting multiple times to edit a file.

I'd recommend anyone to ask Claude to show used context and thinking effort on its status line, something like: ``` #!/bin/bash input=$(cat) DIR=$(echo "$input" | jq -r '.workspace.current_dir // empt

With all the low quality code that's being generated and deployed cybersecurity will be the golden goose.

I thought they were bluffing when they talked about the scaling laws, but looking at the benchmark scores, they were not. I wonder if misalignment correlates with higher scores.

Sadly, my country (Uruguay) is not on that map. Right now, ~99% of the energy we get comes from renewables.

As someone who has been in tech for 20+ years, I can say this is the most exciting it has ever been. I've been spamming some auto research loops, and it is so addictive. Think about how many of humanity's problems will be solved b

It is just a bet on Elon’s vision, nothing more, you put a little money there, many people do the same, price go up. Just that. There are no other companies in the same position as Tesla, time will tell if it succeeds or not.

Instead of using tabs, it would be much better to show the comparison side by side. Also, the examples feel forced, as if you use external libraries, you don't have to write your own "Decode RFC 2047"

Not sure about the "cheap shit" part, there are no other laptops with the build quality of MacBooks. It is as premium as it gets. Software has gotten shittier tho, but I think it is an overall trend and not just Apple.
