Anyone knows what is a good place around the Seattle area to watch the sky at night? I know I'll probably have to drive quite a bit out of the city, but I'm looking for an option where I don't have to leave the state just for

How can I learn to prepare for something like this? How can I find out where the good spots are? My wife and I would love to go on such an adventure, but we fear for things like bears and other predatory animals.

A better title would be "How Caffeine-producing Plants Evolved to Survive and Help People Wake Up". Caffeine itself is just a substance, it's hard to say it evolved by itself.

A bit off-topic, but could you describe what your sinus headache was like? I've been having a lot of pain over my eyebrows for more than a month now. I've read that this could be related to a persistent sinus infection/inflam

I love reading the book of Acts in the Bible because it relates their travels within a part of the Roman empire. What strikes me is how similar to modern day traveling it seemed to be, just in longer timescales. But the same way we could sa

I have a friend who recently moved to SF. The tip someone gave him was basically to not take anything less than $150K for a salary.

This is crazy. I pay $2300 for a large-ish 2 bedroom loft in an expensive place in the Seattle area (Downtown Bellevue). I hope prices here don't get to what they are in SF.
