I got into an online argument with David Cramer years ago about something truly meaningless, but the notion that he is an asshole just stuck with me for some reason. He seems like a terrible representative for Disqus. I wouldn't be surprise

From that post: > Twitter makes it so hard not to accidentally be an asshole. No, I'm pretty sure being an asshole makes it so hard not to accidentally be an asshole. Plenty of people, including Heather, weren't assholes on Twitter.

Great post, but... Power Rangers and Nerf guns? At 14? You might be off by 4 or 5 years. ;) I'm not sure what about the programming/tech community fosters this culture of wanting to one-up someone who comes along with their work. It's even

It's because we treat arguments like battles, looking for that one opening to strike no matter how desperate it may be. It's why you see a lot of people quote a single sentence out of a three paragraph post and reply to that, ignoring the r

I'm not seeing much to remove Heymann or Garland. There's another petition for Heymann, but that's not getting near as much traction as the Ortiz one, even when I've seen numerous commenters claim he was the one behind the case. What's goin

I'm not sure what this petition is trying to accomplish. Do you think, should the President fire Ms Ortiz, she would be replaced by someone completely different? Her actions are a reflection of the entire justice system; the person who re

You shouldn't do it the day after he died. You should mourn him and let his loved ones mourn him. And what part of forcing a single attorney out of her job is "greater change"? What part of that is being "proud"?

I wasn't personally familiar with Aaron, but from what I've read of him, I really don't think he was the type of person who would want everyone to go on a witch hunt the day it's announced he's committed suicide. So how about you save your

The front page is reddit. It's the vast majority of their page views. The only reason it's popular is because of subs like /r/AdviceAnimals, /r/pics, /r/funny, /r/WTF. All low-quality, repetitive content.
