Yes, exactly, code is easier to edit! I use "projection" in openscad to directly create SVGs that i can import into GatorCAM for CNC. https://sites.google.com/view/gatorcam/home

I don't think electric force is necessarily shorter distance than gravity. But electric charges cancel out each other over big regions, while gravity never cancels.

In my gravity simulations, on my YouTube, i found the short weak force distance was the same needed to avoid opposite charges from gaining so much speed that the next iteration's position wouldn't slow the electron down after pass

Everywhere i worked we had drivers running well before silicon came back. We used simulators for hardware. Using parts of existing hardware when possible and hacked Microsoft sw emulation to behave as our hardware would. When the hardware c

I wish they kicad footprints were easier to find/modify/maintain. I modified some its hard to reuse them in other designs. They get saved in places with lots of extra files and I'm not sure how to merge with other designs.

"GatorCAM for CNC" is currently priced very low, $12, with free upgrades even later after it goes to $400+. I'm the author and I'm trying to get it into makers tool kit: https://sites.google.com/view/

Definitely! I made some too: https://youtu.be/gaFKqOBTj9w There are a few videos (not just this one) where I tweaked the rules arbitrarily but got realty interesting behavior!

In my mind, it simply can't go faster because you get fastest speed already, with light. Just consider that you have this object, light, that will always travel at the fastest speed possible. You can approach that speed. But throwing

Personally, I think every object can move 1 quantum unit every tick of the universe. If all the motion of surrounding objects is in one direction only, then no time passes. https://youtu.be/A-2XQQDD6QQ

This perspective you mention is exactly why I made a video on the subject: https://youtu.be/A-2XQQDD6QQ It seems so simple to me now!

I agree! Time is emergent. It is only comparing one thing moving relative to another thing. Without anything moving relative to each other, time can't exist: https://youtu.be/A-2XQQDD6QQ

I gave up the idea of time being a dimension long ago. It allows me to think in ways others do not. I made a video on a different way about thinking time slows near the speed of light: https://youtu.be/A-2XQQDD6QQ

Just connect the airbag sensor to a resiStor load to dump the charge upon an impact. Pretty simple really.

The way you described it, it seems like it could relay information: If you see an odd value, meet me at Disney world. If you see an even value, meet me at the grand canyon. This way, our persuer won't know where we will meet.

I think both factors contribute. It's why my childhood occupies such a large amount of my mental memories. My brain had more dedication to those years.

But the belt only moves forward, never backwards, in the video. So I thought the slicer would need to change. A one-way belt also wouldn't have as much problems with adhesion, or backlash that you mentioned with a two-way belt. Also,

I don't print so I can't say for sure but I think path consistency is key for high quality, strong, low tolerance parts. In-fill might have a weak point if not done consistently. I'll let someone with experience verify, or ad

Is "nozzle weep" just extra plastic that hardens on the nozzle? Can a printer do a clean nozzle function every so often, like the ink jets, to clean off the nozzle?

I suppose you could although the print path might be discontinuous. Think of printing an 8' long rectangle that is 2 layers high. If you print diagonally, the cross section is always the same. If you print on a level, you get the 8

For a single motor, you get: a height axis, and ability for long prints, and multiple unmanned prints. Looks stiffer too.

Is there a slicer that can create g code to print in this angular fashion? (So diy'ers could make one)? I wonder what could be used for the belt? This structure actually looks easier to build and seems more sturdy.
