Seriously. Any guesses at the take? Assuming, of course that Apple doesn't withhold earnings of banned apps.

I actually think you're wrong, sadly. People in the real world, people that are likely to download songs, are not digital cognoscenti like members of HN. They read about this (or watch it on TV, most likely) and think "Shit! Tell Johnny to

I have to respectfully disagree with Doerr on one point: "You should be working on something even if no one paid you anything for it". This is laughable. It's been said before, but i'll say it again: it's easy to say things like "don't worr

Note however that: 1) the get-rich-quick stories are irresistible. ( Hurry up and approve my app so I can make a million in six weeks like SGN!! ). 2 ) huge, wealthy customer base.

Ahem. Please don't attribute Goldman's success to trading . Goldman Sachs recent "success" is largely due to them adroitly navigating the political waters of the bailout, without which i suspect they would be in serious trouble. As for mac

Besides this incident, what other evidence do you present that Paypal is a massive scam? I've used paypal for 5 years and never had a problem. I'm sure things like this happen, but it has to be a negligible percentage of their volume.

"Evil: preying on human weakness for your own personal gain at others' expense". I could easily make a dozen arguments where respectable companies do exactly that. For instance, is Starbucks preying on the "weakness" of humans that desire

As a game developer, I find myself clicking on a lot of game ads...both for fun and "research". Out of all of the game ads I've seen, Evony fr. Civony are the only ads out of all of the game ads i have ever seen that I haven't clicked on.
