You're making some gross assumptions. Firstly: "in the US" There are a lot more people, you know, elsewhere. Further, applicants typically take a scattershot approach, and apply to hundred to thousands of companies in their course of findin

What I mean is that play.data.Form wasn't in the initial autocomplete list; when I typed F-o-r it didn't suggest play.data.Form ( among others). Only after I had cancelled did it ask me for alt+enter to select one of the conflicting names.

For one thing, Intellij doesn't autoimport classes. I was trying out Play 2.0 and autocomplete didn't find a ton of classes for instance play.data.Form. A minor thing, sure, and there are ways around it, but the Eclipse Scala IDE found all

O'Hare is gigantic airport. And, I know from experience that some flights from O'hare to GRR are running tight, sometimes as little as 10 minutes before the connecting flight taxis. I once sprinted through O'Hare to catch a connecting flight

I'm not risking Federal Pound-Me-In-The-Ass-Prison over getting a few gamblers to spend money in my game. Someone at Betable claims they have really good protections in place for this but I don't think U.S. devs should go near it. Over in

Incorrect that U.S. developers of a game implementing Betable could be targets of legal action? Or incorrect that your software is circumventable? Here's another question. Is Betable willing / able to provide legal counsel to U.S. developer

Also don't just jump into this shit unless, you know, you have legal counsel that specializes in gaming. It's still a huge risk. E.g. U.S. customers could circumvent and bet on your site. Guess what, you're on the hook for that!

I'd like someone to create an amazing Sublime Text 2 editor build for me. It would integrate a python debugger with stepping and breakpoints, as well as integrate an AS3 / Unity3D debugger. Failing being able to bolt the debugger on to the

Thanks. I've been on this site for a long, long time. I knew there had to be a curated list like this but Google turned up nothing with a cursory search.

This sounds pretty naive. Just because someone doesn't do something they love now , doesn't mean they're wasting their life. It may simply mean they like eating rather than starving.

Jurors. All about the jurors. Average, non-fuckin-HN-reader jurors, and they know what Angry Birds is. If they had used something more representative like SHADOWGUN, no one would know what they were talking about.

That is quite amazing to learn. How are the farmers not granted "citizenship" as it were, in their own country once they move to another part of it and presumably contribute to the local economy?

Politicians are the body and voice of society. I hate to expose an ugly truth to you, but it is not a single person deciding to go to war. It takes many people to nod in agreement before bombs start being dropped and troops start marching.
