I was about to roast you until I realized this had to be satire given the situation, haha. They tried to imitate grok with a cheaply made system prompt, it had an uncanny effect, likely because it was built on a shaky foundation. And now t

> If you've built your value on promising imminent AGI then this sort of thing is purely a distraction, and you wouldn't even be considering it... unless you knew you weren't about to shortly offer AGI. I’m not a big fan o

They’ll also need a fleet of humanoid robots eventually to compete with Elon’s physical world data collection plans.

We had this in the 8th grade science class, and IMO it was much better than this Harvard version. Still PB&J with instructions. Teacher had a skeleton named "it". Anytime instructions referenced the word "it", the te

I was on a project that avoided making a bad decision because of Black Mirror. The project didn’t succeed regardless but people do get insights from the show even if it’s not always a plausible scenario.

Why wasn’t the ICOM framework (D. Kelley) allowed to make a scoring submission after they claimed to have beaten the scores? Are you concerned that may appear to contradict your mission statement and alienate the AGI community?

It’s not. You normally can’t marshal dynamic classses or their instances across process boundaries so your multithreading options are limited. But maybe the data class has a way to do that. I see no advantage to not use concrete classes if

Yudkowsky’s MIRI was funded by Thiel in its early days. And I think that was a good thing btw. They have a noble mission. I doubt Kurzweil is a billionaire as well.

Musk is still there to take the hit, and he will. He's spoken about it openly to a degree. Something about how he's only planning to be in that role temporarily and will get back to building rockets. > DOGE is also demolishing

It's ironic that someone would think that because their candidate of choice didn't win in a democratic election (if they were even an American).

Elon didn't give the order to do that, but it's likely convenient to Trump if people think he did (but that only works for so long). The criticism doesn't affect Elon, who isn't planning on staying in that role for long

Elon wasn't given that authority. If he asserted it early on it was later taken away. It's been said over and over that his access is read-only and any findings are to be made fully transparent to the public.
