This comes off more as a marketing blog post to me than an objective evaluation. I don’t understand why dynamoDB was not included as a technology for comparison as it is well suited for these types of scenarios.

You don’t need to install the SDK to run a dotnet core app. They can ship what’s required to run and there’s even single executable options now as well.

I work in the Public Safety space where we are subject to a long list of CJIS guidelines. Some of the regulations, particularly like FIPS seem quite outdated and actually require systems to be less secure than they could be.
