That makes no sense, yup. Well, maybe Scooters, yes - they usually have their engine mounted in the swingarm instead of the central frame, which reduces vibrations at the handlebar. As for power, that doesnt correlate, eg. I have a 20yrs ol

Answering dharmab's response Ugh, pulling and especially re-inserting the camshaft shouldnt be done in a hurry. At least from my experience with the V-Strom's V-engine. Needs to be cooled down and insertion of the camshaft needs p

That depends on the number of cylinders, valves per cylinder, and so on. Your parallel twin is probably easier to service (accessability of valve covers, valve mechanism). Some designs require the removal of the gas tank and even camshafts

Sure. But for mapping lots of POIs this is a PITA and doesnt scale. What if the owner declines? This is non-copyrightable info anyway. Shall one ask house owners if one can map their address or their house' outline?

by ce4 3y ago
Why ask the owner in the first place. Its public information anyway. Google does not ask either.

You can type a sentence and Maps will start A-B Routing. Its a thidden shortcut that's been working for ages and is still supported gladly: E.g. "from Berlin to Rome"

Not only that, but also city and village-names (especiqlly when the map is in directions-mode). Total bollocks for a maps app.

It's not that 2016 devices are outdated per se, as a counter point, see the iPhone 7, which runs now on iOS 15.x from 2021, but still receives updates [1]. It is cheap Android handsets stuck on Android 6 Marshmallow or worse that never

Theres examples, though. Stephen Hendry, the Snooker professional played with the cheap 40£ cue of his youth for a long time into his professional career and won championships with it. It broke in 2003: https://www.theguardian.co

The trick is to use screws from the start and throw away the nails. Also make notes on the back, to mark what part goes where and in what direction. And lastly, have a 90° gage to make sure all corners have right angles. This is very crucia

Only when I'm in the mood. There's a bit of a lower than street/asphalt-level manhole cover in a calm corner here. I just go over this one with a bit of an angle, started very gentle and increased speed/leaning angle a b

Not sure why this was downvoted, i really agree with that. And patched cracks (using bitumen with a lower melting point than asphalt's) are also slippery af in the summer heat. I keep doing some controlled slips to stay somewhat accust

Exactly, 99.999% accuracy (wrt. to zeroing HDDs) is not enough. And the stop-gap measure for the remaining 0.001% is to have a policy that mandates shredding HDDs. Maybe until there's 100% disk encryption
