I believe you are correct that the title is misleading and generally agree re: the comparison to advertisers (although they are a much different group than law enforcement). But there is no way of knowing how the targeting was/is worki

So if you have something you need to accomplish, and you can't do it in the ten minutes you allow for your interaction, what do you do? The classic example in the US is the silly cable plans here that give "promotional" rates

This is actually the reason I already avoid Samsung. They seem to have abysmal customer service in the US. Particularly compared to Apple for mobile devices.

You have to imagine it will have some affect. I purchase the phones for my company and the (all non-technical) people who come me to generally ask, "Should I get an Apple or a Samsung?".

If the you find the policy so absurd, why not just stop using the service now? This sort of behavior, opposing policies but only acting on it when it affects you directly, is precisely what gives this "random social network" so mu

As another anecdote, I have purchased six X1 Carbons for staff in the past year or so and they have been great. The staff all travel a lot and they appreciate how light weight it is. The only machine-specific support I have had to provide s

Is this a thing that is actually tracked by anyone? In a quick search I didn't see any info about it for the US. I haven't ever voted, but if this were an actual tabulation in elections, I absolutely would. If not, is there really

A "No Vote" could basically just be what remains after considering voter turnout[1]. But historically I don't think anyone looks at it that way. For example, in the 2012 presidential election, Obama received 65,915,796 votes
