Also the coloring of glass is very important. Clear glass has value, while green and brown tinted glass has much less value. “Glass recycling” takes all forms though, so now you have to sort optically, which has mixed results, or settle for

Glass is made of sand and oil. Sand is apparently in shorter (not short) supply. Oil isn’t. I think it’s a different world than the 1994 article you link to

the root password hack also required physical access, or some sort of proximity access on a network LAN, to be able to work. It’s really not that much different than snooping on someone sitting a few seats away from you at the bar

But they patched the Mac root login within 48 hours of it becoming “a story”? I don’t buy the conspiracy. More likely, Apple wants to ease user adoption. Did you buy an iPhone X? It was awesome to setup. There was this nifty feature to use

This argument pops up all the time, and has for years. I recall seeing it when Eric Schmidt at Google said something like “don’t have anything worth hiding, and then you won’t care if you are hacked”. Excuse my brevity, but you argument and

Do you know how many people use 4 digit passcodes, or no passcodes at all? Do you know how many people share that passcode with others, intentionally or unintentionally? Family members, spouses, etc. repair people who do screen replacements

Outwit Hub, specifically the advanced or enterprise levels. It has a GUI on it that is not designed very well, and documentation that is complete, but hard to search... But it can do just about any type of scrape, including getting started

It may be appropriate, but that is such a rare tool to have used, you could argue that it should be avoided at all costs. Watching the government unravel companies just strikes me as dangerous. That said, I find these credit agencies to be

I think the prior comment references 'leadership' as a status ("Apple is the Leader in Design"), not a person or position ("Jony Ive leads the design team").

Can you share more details about the battery status API tracking? Would love to see how that correlates to a unique user.

Perhaps this is why the Rolling Stone is for sale then? Author and Editor fail to validate highly sensitive claims in an incredibly amateur fashion. * they did not even ask the accused for comment*. Rather than separate from the author and

For one, good customer service is hard. Also, customer service in that space is costly, particularly because these businesses already operate at a loss to gain market share.

Fellow hockey fan here. Can you share some information about Hockey's concussion risks? I was not aware it is "dealing with similar controversies". There are certainly head injuries in Hockey, but I was not aware that people

This is a very important topic that I am surprised does not receive enough coverage. Thank you for bringing it up. It will be particularly interesting if accident blame is placed on the 'dumb cars', and then insurance companies do

This is a great point. Almost every podcast I listen to, from Gimlet to NPR to Mike Rowe, are heavily sponsored by these two firms. Will be very interesting to see this open doors for other companies who may have been outbid for advertising

You assume there are candid answers in there, though - in a deposition you answer as little as humanly possible. Your side of lawyers will ask a few key questions, any everything else is from your opposition trying to trip you up.

The city has changed a lot over the last decade. You'd be surprised. There are very few dirty areas around the greater Pittsburgh region. Is it perfect? No, but its hands-down cleaner than a lot of major US metro areas.
