Reporting benchmark results on a single OS, on a single CPU type isn't really benchmarking. It's an isolated case of results. I'd recommend to perform an accurate suite of performance tests, use different OS (CoreOS, Ubuntu)

The server doesn't need to use a JVM. You can use whatever language you want and expose it via a REST API with some JSON. Typically folks go to JVM when scalability is a problem.

Here are my thoughts with limited knowledge of your situation. As employee #2, you are a technical co-founder, period. The problems you have outlined will not be solved be staying at the current company. It's apparent that the owner h

Thank you to both Wikipedia and Facebook for being transparent and sharing this back to the open source community. It's these type of joint efforts that really move the web forward. Hats off.

Get rid of the end vertical and make it launch you into a foam pit. I can see some "midnight" modifications for a 1.1 release.

Could someone clarify why you'd want to have a JavaScript engine in your C/C++ Project? Is the idea if you have a desktop app executable wrapper and you could include this engine to start building desktop apps in JavaScript? I don

I wonder what this feat ended up costing in comparison to Felix or those who scale Everest? I have a feeling it was far far less. I wonder when he'll start working on his first space capsule/micro ship next :)

Meh, we need AI to understand API interfaces automatically and can communicate together seamlessly, without any hard coding. That's when device to device integration gets REALLY interesting. Wait, isn't this just bluetooth + web?
