I'm pretty sure Americans can come to Canada without a visa. I know (firsthand) that Canadians can definitely go there without one.

Ditto. I downloaded Airmail a couple months ago and rarely use Gmail these days because it's so much more convenient for me.

Maybe next time do a cursory search before jumping to conclusions? The WHATWG spec is the first link when you search for "requestAutocomplete" on Google.

I don't think BBM has the same influence of BB users that once did thanks to WhatsApp and other cross-platform messengers. I think at this point it's to BB's advantage to make it easier for their users to communicate with non-BB phones via

Yii places all config information (and any files that shouldn't be accessed by a visitor) in a folder called "protected" that is behind a "deny from all" .htaccess file. WordPress should consider something like that.

I don't think they're trying to funnel users to MonoDevelop, I think they're using it because the iOS SDK is for Mac. Take a look at Mono for Android, for example. It uses a VS plugin instead of MonoDevelop.

Right, but you're light skinned. Imagine that, in addition to all the hardships you probably had to overcome, you also had to deal with systemic racism because you had dark skin.

I disagree. Java tried to make you handle the error (checked exceptions) and all that happened was people were irritated by it and caught and ignored them. I think at some point you have to expect the programmer to take some initiative in

From the article: "So far, Java seems like a stinker to me. I've never written a Java program, never more than glanced over reference books about it, but I have a hunch that it won't be a very successful language." I think that pretty clear

I don't think the author was loving or hating OO, he was just pointing out the Joe Armstrong's points weren't very well argued. It's not bickering, it's discussion, and it helps people to understand the paradigms better.
