Want to know what’s even more fun? Since 2018 if you have income from a hobby you are not allowed to deduct any expenses from it, but do need to pay taxes on any income. So if you make a bit of money from photography, and buy and sell a bu

Wow, I haven’t heard the name urchin in a long time. For the longest time my favorite coffee shop had an urchin sticker on their tip jar. I wonder if it’s still there.

The existing health insurance industry is far from free market. Try getting a price for a procedure or visit beforehand. Compare that to dental insurance. I’m always shocked when I get a treatment plant after 5 minutes that outlines exactly

Amosmia can be an early sign of Parkinson’s disease, and people who lose their sense of smell can suffer from depression and weight loss. It can also happen after head trauma. In thinking about it, noticeable changes in any sense probably

Go to a doctor. I have congenital anosmia, and all the research I've done says that losing your sense of smell is serious. There are some things that may help, but they are more effective the sooner you do them. If you are in the bay

Unemployment insurance, family/medical leave, workers comp, and health insurance are all different by state. That can be a lot of overhead for the first employee in a new state, but then the second is trivial.

Putting individual stickers on items is more expensive than you’d think. And most box manufacturers are set up for printing lots of the identical box - changing those lines would be hard.

Yes, I am being sarcastic. There may be a benefit to customers but your products will have calls to action on them to download and install an Amazon app on your phone when you’re in a retailer like Target or Best Buy. I think that’s the re

Yes, and amazon gets to put a sticker on every item you sell (or at least the SKUs you enroll in transparency) no matter what channel you sell it in. I can’t imagine why vendors might not want to do that if they want to sell anyplace other
