Alright, it seems like we're getting to that point. Does anybody know if Fastmail.fm can be configured with ActiveSync or IMAP/IDLE? Is there a pay email provider out there that supports these, and is relatively trustworthy? My work relies

Well if you're polling the account by IMAP you might as well just...poll it by IMAP from the phone.

They used to offer it. I'm still grandfathered on a 30GB plan, which is wonderful. I occasionally get poke emails from Google asking me to upgrade to one of the new plans.

I've heard it a few times. I like the sound a lot, but I know a few artists who still won't use it.

This is fantastic. I haven't picked anything up from Everlane in probably two months. Almost forgot about them. Now I'll be looking forward to when their site comes back online for me to make a choice or two tomorrow!

We still haven't really solved the problem of getting a digital piano to sound anything like a Steinway Concert Grand. Even if we could replace artistic expression with algorithm in this instance, the instrument sound itself has miles to go

Initial dictionary not trained with profanity. I hate how much time I have to spend stopping things from being autocorrected to "duck." Fleksy didn't improve on the situation.

The fees are only levied online, not at the hard box office. So the promoter can advertise the ticket price, and the ticketing agent adds fees.

I think the place for a great disruptive startup would be at the promoter level. It's not something that you can just throw a lot of tech at, but at this point LN seems a lot more disruptable than TM.

In Ruby "for...in" is just syntactic sugar for #each. Try defining your own #each on a random object!

I'd say that most Rubyists use #select, whereas #find is a more literate alias that few use outside of AR.

A well run not-for-profit damn well better be making a profit, it's just not turned back to the owner. They just take their allotted salary. Which is a pretty fine idea too.
