That is a very interesting observation. It seems that some neural pathways are way shorter over audio ( i guess because we have perfect hearing from birth , unlike vision ), so that the "effort" to read, comprehend and store !text

Yes, but even so, the (fictional) RoI on the start money is a few orders of magnitude. Which is not quite ordinary.

Yes, this is a thing that I noticed, less bugs, less birds. In summer at 5am it used to be a real concert in my garden to the point that you got a natural alarm clock. Now? With my window open, there is quite quiet, an occasional bird song

IKEA sells in Germany straws from paper. Kids love them. Very light.

Let me put it that way: CO2 might be mitigated at some point, but plastic in oceans is a lost cause.

I live in Germany and I never heard of this "need". Nobody forces you. Yes, you may want to change your old heating (that's what I do), but you get a lot of subvention from the state. You do this, then you also get some good

Had almost the same assignement. We were teams of two, and we had to demonstrate that it works by implementing something very simple assembly instructions, we had to design them too. I was in charge of the pipelining and clocking and my col

While for a laptop one can use xen ( or grub, or similar ) to default boot into a pretty boring image of, let's say, windows 10, with some fake-but-good-looking documents, photos, etc, I wonder what are the possibilities on a smartphon
