there are growing studies about 1) the connection between gut biome damage and obesity and 2) that chemicals in food and products are destroying our gut biome. Putting those two things together, these signals in the article would make sense

As the article of this post points out Larry Sanger is pretty vocal about how biased the content is and how changes to try and provide any semblance of a fair and balanced perspective are edited out of existence oftentimes by small numbers

great list thanks for sharing. I'm just not sure making grain alcohol in the 15th century applies to a modern day Internet company listed on a public stock exchanges. But time will tell for sure.. it always does!
