Pure chance. A mutual friend knew about my project and invited me to the first meetup, which happened a couple months ago. We were hoping this second one would allow us to do deeper critques than the first, which was paced more quickly, but

I actually was just at a small meetup for people in the SF Bay Area who are building memex's. The Zettelkasten was a common theme in several of the projects people were working on. Here are my notes from the event for anyone interested

Tangent: Did you make up the term "character piece"? I've not heard that before but I don't have a name for these kind of articles that include stories of specific people.

Is protocol if you find these things a security researcher not to share the link? I read about these leaks a lot and am always interested in viewing them but never can find them. I assume the links are shared with people carefully because

Really interesting! Does submitting a claim here prevent you from suing Equifax in small claims court? It seems possible that a $5000 may be worth my time.

Interesting post! I appreciate this being shared. Would Triplebyte mind sharing the data? I'd love if the numbers could speak for themselves, rather than having to rely on an interpretation of the numbers.

The draw is that you can get barista-quality espresso drinks for cheaper. Labor is the biggest expense of coffee shops.

The heavily moderated ones are generally better. /r/askscience and /r/askhistorians are the highest quality subs I know of. They delete any comments that don't cite sources.

Thank you for that answer! Would you mind briefly expanding on "Because it's so clear that Tether is simply used as a way to circumvent AML/KYC"? Not being contrarian, I just don't understand how this part works.

I never really understand this claim, but also don't have a deep expertise in AML/KYC. How does Tether help here?

This is a great explanation. Is this problem useful for anything? I've seen multiple variations of these prisoner problems now, and I can never remember any being useful in other contexts.
