Blame society. Businesses won't value security unless the fear of getting attacked is sufficiently strong and the losses significant. Otherwise why invest in it at all? Definitely not just hardware exploits though. Look at heartblee

Having not looked at it deeply yet, why require building every time it's invoked? Is the idea to get it working then add build caching later? Seems like a pretty big drawback (bigger than the go.mod pollution, for me). Github runner
