What is actually crazy is having copyright/patents/whatever apply to mathematical structures and code, and be retainable for long, it's rent on ideas, such a ridiculous concept.

Personally, for the last point, I just use a disable CORS extension on my browser for local dev work, and any http-server.

It really depends on the country, afaik it is legal to do straight up reverse engineering in Brazil.
