May I ask what the “plant study” you are referring to is?

I’d love to read more. Can you or someone else provide a relevant link?

Any chance you have some sources on this? There a lot of talking around the subject of masks, but I don't have any articles or similar to show people when discussing this.

I like that. Could you tell more? Which site/api are you using to monitor the prices? Feel free to plug your site!

It would depend on the time to get a service to respond when scaled to zero. Otherwise it seems to be twice the cost of fargate with AWS, if you need to have it running all the time to get reasonable response times.

I wonder how this case would play out with EU laws. Any idea?

Anything in the open source realm with a similar use case of watching for something specific to change on a web site? Would be nice to run this from a home server/raspberry pi.

Same for the “18 people are currently looking at this route”. I know a lot of travel sites do it, but I don’t see how it adds any value for me to know that (if it is even true)

I am actually starting to look into creating a batch workflow, which would be very suited for this (or SWF). However, I would like to know what the alternatives are that are non-amazon specific. Are there any open source projects that cover

The video is a bit hard to follow, but looking at the code shown at 1:14, Datomic transactions seems to be made directly from the GUI. Isn't this a major security problem given that anyone could just send arbitrary transactions using e

Yeah, I was thinking of the same thing. It's not my field professionally though, so I am not sure what the relevant conclusion would be for machine learning though (or if the comparison holds at all).

Or even better, sign up using a Canadian IP. The their dollar is lower than the American, so it is cheaper (might be cheaper elsewhere). It doesn't limit you in any way to sign up and use in another country as far as I can tell.

If the objective is (and correct me if it isn't) to be able to install arbitrary software on iOS, isn't that possible now with Xcode 7 and free provisioning? Personally I am hoping Github will be the new way through which to insta

Seems to be an attempt at reimplementing at least parts of datomic as open source: https://github.com/aosabook/500lines/tree/master/functionalD...

I think alot of people (including myself and my team) just tend to get on with their lives and use clojure/java.jdbc. Sure it's not that sexy, but it gets the job done. And for the 80-90% queries you can create a small function or

Personally I get a fair amount of stuttering when I mirror any device (iPad mini retina, iPhone 5s, MBP retina early 2013). Its not alot and some people would not notice/care, but it bugs me. Is yours running as smooth as with AirPlay
