Really? The browsers I usually use to test if a site works without HTTPS (IE6 and IE8 on XP SP2) can't load it. Weird!

It could be shorter still! Stop forcing HTTPS!

Obsidian isn't as bad as Notion, but it's also proprietary. Unfortunately, there is no good company in this space.

There are plenty of companies that make desktop apps. Car consoles (generally) don't use browsers. I am sure that those applications would get on just fine without running Chromium. A car with a web browser is a nightmare.

I haven't used it/had no idea about it until reading this post, but here's my attempt. You aren't stupid, it's just that the genre of projects (spaced-repetition systems) Orbit is in is pretty niche. It mentions tha

I completely disagree! Monospaced text is far easier to skim by making the scanrate of content more constant.

I actually have at least three books on my shelf right now that have monospaced fonts! Pre-TeX computer/engineering books tend to be that way. Monospace is legible, and 12px is a great size for web content.

12px monospaced is really easy to read. The problem is not the website in this case. The website is fine. Consider pressing CTRL+ a few times if it is too small for you in particular.
