This is likely going to be 100% ignored since I'm late to the party on this but my wife's experiences have been that true discrimination and difficulty doesn't rise until a female engineer tries to enter management. When she

It is unfortunate that Ansible has a complete lack of test cases around core modules and, as a result, people act surprise when they're broken in a new release. For example see this fairly critical defect with the s3 module in today&#x

I feel like this being #1 on hacker news is someone's way of trying to say it's damning evidence against CoreOS' security model and why you should steer clear of it. Of course they found issues in an alpha release. Happens al

Funny I know a lot of people with remote jobs who have kids. Often times than not the employer will pay for a co-working space if it is needed.

It once looked like a swimming pool. From the wikipedia entry you linked: "According to the USGS topographical map published in 1977, the area was approximately 0.25 km2 (62 acres). However, in recent years the pond has shrunk consider

The "busy with morning meetings" Billy referred to in his email was him speaking about winning startup weekend at a local entrepreneur group, sans his team. I think the camera shot is poor though, it probably wasn't that empt

+1 I always go for the networking and the chance to be a "fish out of the water". This year I went purely for fun and wound up building a mobile chat app (which I had zero experience with) for my 5 year old daughter. It was a lot

From what I read Billy didn't make the arrangement, one of the developers did. The idea was that if the entire team of 9 didn't stick around to when the startup becomes successful then they at least get 0.4% equity for participati

While the pixel resolution is 8-bit the palettes used remind me more of 16-bit games of the early 90s.

One solution you could do is use the Zapier webhook trigger to push data to google docs. Then write an application that iterates over the database table and fires a webhook with the JSON to that endpoint on Zapier. Should be a piece of cake

The key difference between pypi and npm is that if you pull a package down and it depends on something==1.0.2 and you depend directly on the incompatible something==0.8.9 both version live together in peace because only request will use 1.0

Oh yeah, being able to specify dockerfiles is golden. We actually use Makefiles to copy docker files from different directories for building, then copying them back. What a hassle it has been.
