Both are broad spectrum antivirals, but completely different mechanism. DRACO "is a chimeric protein with one domain that binds to viral double stranded RNA (dsRNA) and a second domain that induces apoptosis when two or more DRACOs cro

Paper appears to be paywalled. It is however an update to this preprint which is available on Biorxiv: "Broad-spectrum RNA antiviral inspired by ISG15-/- deficiency" https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.110

Maybe we can crowd source data. My platform, currently in beta, has ai assistants for compute infrastructure and biology and will soon let people to do self serve research on their own omics data using models like yours. So there could be a

Cool. Could we train a "potential oncoprotein" classifier on Orthrus embeddings? IMO self serve diagnosis and detection is a far larger market than synthesis.

I thought people were dosing themselves with a base amino acid. Duh. Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea, but not a base amino acid, ie doesn't form proteins. Can cross the blood-brain barrier and can certainly modulate brain

From a biology perspective base amino acids (such as theanine) on their own are not generally major modulators of human function. You want to experiment with small molecules, something that binds with proteins such as enzymes which in turn

Back in 2015, AMD was trading at $2.40 and Nvidia at about 50 cents (accounting for stock splits). 1000 USD invested then would be ~$70,000 and ~$256,000 respectively today.
