In my experience tethering via bluetooth the bottleneck is BT not the cellular network. I get 4-5x the speed by using USB.

They have a few. I've owned the 515 (fell from the fourth story and kept working for a solid year), and I currently own the 208. Both have HSPA or something, 3.5G anyway. No wifi though, you'll have to either use bluetooth or USB

The problem is that the quality of the audio out of the raspberry pi is terrible. I wonder if these HDMI audio extractors I see in the comments are any better. I have a raspberry pi connected to a projector that doesn't have audio out

Other than the technical problems I also wonder if the person who invented this location-based unlock has ever been married… - Honey, your phone is locked. - Yeah, I always keep it locked, just in case. - Did you know you can make it unlock

Don't be too snarky about Starbucks: coffee before Starbucks was much worse than it is now. From the wikipedia article linked in the sibling comment you'll see that Starbucks pretty much sparked the good coffee revolution in the U

Most of the stuff you say easily extends to a large part of Italy. I know coffee in Rome is often not as good as in Naples, but we also go on coffee dates and fight to be the one to pay for everyone. I would like to convey the pleasure of p

Another way of say of saying this is that a drum beat has no definite pitch because it's too short. It's exactly the same property of Fourier transforms behind the uncertainty principle.

No, believe me. If you think that the pizza you get for 8-9€ is decent, take the time, once in your lifetime, to visit Naples. There are a couple of good pizza places in Paris, but prices hover around 15€ per pizza.

I might be wrong, but I found the kind of room that $1000 pays for in NYC to be way nicer and larger than the one you can get for a similar price in Paris (though the usd/eur has increased 20% since I checked).

I did the computation myself I think in the span 2000-2013, using data from Wolfram|Alpha and I was surprised to find that Paris had 46% of days with at least one shower. Here are the cities I had checked: London 42 Paris 46 Rome 23 Boston
