Is it a screenshare software though? When I think screenshare I think VNC, zoom, Adobe connect… This is more screenshots and screencasts right?

If you have dropbox installed you can set it to upload all screenshots.

I suffered (probably still do) from myopic retinopathy and I underwent dynamic laser treatment about 10 years ago, it was very effective and I haven't progressed since. Basically they inject you with something that has to be activated

The snippet for Italian punk is neither Italian nor punk, kinda makes you wonder about the quality of the original data. Probably it would make more sense to coarse grain a little bit more if you can't trust the data.

Why aren't you frustrated at the continued existence of azerty? I lived for a few years in France and I always had to ask for a US keyboard or my brain would just get too confused keeping azerty and qwerty separate. Now I'm back i

I also didn't much like the tone of the article (and I'm a physicist). However there is something to be said about working with data and not being aware of the most fundamental approximations you've done, how long can they ho

No, it doesn't speak Italian, for one 'chi' is pronounced like 'she' and not like 'ki'.

I thought this left/right brain stuff was considered pseudoscience at best. Granted, there is more to this article, but I find it somewhat hard to take seriously.

I think the author might be French, or francophone. Most of the interface of the blog appears in French on my machine.

It's definitely not acceptable in Italy. You're actually not allowed to bring your coffee to a table if you paid the counter fare. So yeah we have good coffee under $1, but only if you drink it and GTFO.

Your comment made me go into a meta loop. Is it ok for you to say that we should look past the skimpy photos, or is it exactly what OP is fighting against?

In another comment you said that one homicide should be punished by death in the exact same form. This would have the exact same effect as the kidnapping example: if you killed one person why not kill 50?

IIRC in Turkey, they reintroduced death penalty for kidnapping and the number of people rescued from kidnapping declined dramatically: it is much simpler to do away with witnesses. You can say you don't believe in deterrents, but you s

I don't know why I've gotten downvoted for this, but if you reread the post you will see a bunch of references to things that just haven't been true of Mathematica since v1.0.

I'm not sure they are quite equivalent, the semantics of pattern matching tend to be different: in lisps lists are always a kind of binary tree so (list 1 2 3) is really (1 . (2 . (3 . nil))), this has a consequence for unification in

It appears that the discussion on arbitrary precision vs machine precision is obsolete as it does not seem to apply to Mathematica, maybe it used to be true for SMP, though I'm not sure.

Well M-expressions to be more precise. Actually if you ask some they'll tell you that Mathematica is the only Lisp that implemented them.

There are lot of people who use Dropbox for its version control features, albeit limited they might be. It might not scale well with many users and branching, but it's probably good enough for two researchers editing the same paper on
