potatolicious has a point. In fact, in universities, logic (formal logic, with symbols) is usually taught by philosophy departments.

Logic is not "a ka maths," it's very much interdisciplinary, and it's the bridge between math, philosophy, computer science and linguistics. That's why even something as simple as an SQL query uses concepts drawn from each of those fields.

What's the difference between mathematical inclination and logical inclination? Logic is a strange area since it bridges fields, primarily math, philosophy, linguistics and computer science. In my experience, designing software more frequ

As I stated elsewhere, the internal software architecture (or licensing) is not the issue here, the cloned result presented to users/customers is. Your argument was that someone can't take a web app and "copy it to China," yet this is exac

Creating a competing product or service is absolutely not the same thing as cloning a product or service. With web applications, this is even more true since they are literally operating side by side on the internet.

You clearly have missed everything since it's exactly the opposite. The internal software architecture is not the issue here, the cloned result presented to users/customers is.

The language argument is a red herring that appeals to an outdated, pre-communications revolution worldview and tries to ignore the central issue here. Language support has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this situation. If someon
