A quick check of your recent HN comments proves to me that you have only ever researched / trusted a single narrative and talking about this with you won't be very productive. I think you would find it useful, even for supporting

I disagree. #1 this topic is not as divisive as it may seem. There is consensus as to what is happening and only a minority of the world thinks otherwise. #2 Israel is a major tech partner and most large tech companies have offices in Tel A

Children are easier to convince or coerce to do work that is prohibited. I'm not sure your intentions with trying desperately to convince yourself that it's safe and reasonable to have children work dangerous jobs. 14 year olds ca

I'm curious why you think these laws were enacted in the first place? Do you think there was not evidence back then which convinced a majority of people to want that big change?

Yes and for this exact reason, many argue for better gun safety regulations. I grew up before mass shootings became a daily occurrence (this is not hyperbole), but I still had at least one classmate in Junior High and HS die every year from

The burden of proof is certainly on the person claiming there's an increase in child labor death. However just because they didn't provide proof doesn't make the claim "false". The increase in child labor-related de

Are you often working within the command line? I don't use vim bindings elsewhere so I use these a lot : "Edit a command line" section on https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/terminal/trmlshtc

Yeah I use Ctrl far more often than Esc as I'm usually navigating code and reading it vs writing it, so Caps Lock -> Ctrl is more valuable. Additionally, I use Ctrl outside of vim very frequently as I keep my terminal key bindings

I have never seen this done in enterprise Go code, and I don't think it's been strongly recommended since the mid 2010's? For small functions where you can see everything in a single page, this is fine. Though I think they sh

That's true but when talking about space being flat vs having a curve, 2D and 3D visualizations are just to help explain the concept. All current evidence points to the shape of space and the universe being relatively "boring"

As cool as that would be, most experiments still believe the curvature of space to be flat, which means if you travel endlessly in one direction relative to a starting point, you will never return to that starting point. https://

This is nice. I use `column` for pretty printing CSV/TSV but it fixes two tiny gaps in `sort` (skipping header lines) and `jq` (parsing CSV input. `jq` supports `@csv` for output conversion but not input). $ cat example.csv colo
