A good idea in a good market, probably the most important things in a startup. You have a clear path to revenue, and you are addressing a common problem, which I can attest to as a hiring manager. One suggestion to potentially extend your m

I second this. Reading the name for the first time, not knowing the concept, evoked thoughts of dropping one's job or similar. I know how hard this is, but if still possible, I'd brainstorms for another name.

It sounds like you are self medicating with alcohol, maybe because of an underlying anxiety issue. In that case, I'd recommend switching to other anxiolytic drugs (e.g. Benzodiazepines), since your alcohol intake will sooner or later manife

Great insight into tumor development. It reminded me of a scene in Dragon's Egg, a Sci-Fi story about life on a neutron star, where the aliens cure a female space travelers future breast cancer, by irradiating a tiny cluster of mutated cell

Ah, fond memories. I recall a bus ride through snowed in Denver in 1984, to get a copy of the original blue box article referenced in phone phreak lore at the downtown library, just to find that these pages had long been removed from the jo

Thank you for making this more specific. I checked on Wikipedia after my comment, and found what you cite. So common wisdom needs to adapt.

To me that would be Science, Nature, Cell, not necessarily in this order. These journals have the highest impact factor, which is "sort of like PageRank". You could compare this to the IF of the mentioned journal.

Theories about the etiology of schizophrenia are a dime a dozen. I did my thesis on the genetics of schizophrenia 20 years ago, and to this day nothing has come of it. If the research cited is not in one of the top journals, I'd not even bo

Hah, also ordered on launch day :) And I'm glad I got the desk and car docks, as they seem to be sold out as well. Initially I also thought that the N1 touch screen was glass, but then I managed to put a couple of ugly scratches into it whe

Too bad most folks prefer subsidized phones, and Google's experiment with the N1 didn't work out. After initially falling in love with the iPhone, I bought an N1 since it supports T-Mobile's US 3G frequency. The N1 is a great phone, and I'm

After experiencing a couple of movies and recently HDTV in 3D, I'd say 3D is here to stay. It just makes for a better experience. In essence, 3D technology is piggybacking on our highly evolved visual processing ability. The added cost for
