SteamDeck runs archlinux, so higher chance of the blessed configuration working elsewhere? Can’t really say, since Steam hasn’t elaborated on their plans yet.

You're correct, but Netflix seems to block it on the client-side. Lots of extensions fix this, and I seem to have had those installed for quite a while, so never had to think about it. Prime on the other hand, blocks it server-side, so

I've used Arch on a MBA (2015), System76 (Galago Pro), and a Dell XPS 13 as well. Planning to upgrade to a M1 Air with Asahi soon, with my Steam Deck as a secondary linux portable machine. Once you fix the keyboard layout on Macbooks,

No Yubikey support meant it used a GPG key saved on disk with a passphrase, which went against my "only-hardware-encryption" plan. For non-critical passwords, I didn't mind it, but plan to keep all passwords here once I switc

I might move from my (very-similar) Yubikey/pass setup[1] (with touch-to-decrypt) to this, GPG isn't exactly fun to use. The one difference I have is I keep some non-critical passwords synced to mobile vya pass-for-ios, with a sep

In addition to 7Wonders:Duel, mentioned here already, a few other good ones are Jaipur, Patchwork. I've also been enjoying Kingdomino recently, which works equally well as a 2 player game (2-4 players on box). You might like this list[

You could also just skip the CA part, and use DANE. Just publish the key in your DNS, and the corresponding self-signed certificate in your server. Are there any DANE compatible clients today?

It’s not a recent trend: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_and_the_Non-Aligned_Mo... The current trend is mixing it with a big dose of nationalism.

You could run it on the edge, serverless. CloudFlare D1 supports a SQLite database that your code on the edge can access. That gives you an amazing way to run WordPress without worrying about the OS. PHP isn’t natively supported there yet,

Byju, one of Softbank’s flagship investments in India ($22B valuation at peak) is in a similar place. $290M worth of payments are pending to just AWS and a there’s a $1.2B loan left hanging. https://themorningcontext.com/int

A related idea I have is to support subscription for OPML feeds. That way, instead of getting a private personal feed URL that merged hundreds of feeds that you follow on the server side, clients should support subscribing to an OPML feed,

I’ve seen FTX being retroactively removed from review articles (Top exchange lists) and similarly for stuff like Luna. Crypto isn’t a space where you can afford to assume good faith.

I read How to Win Friends in school and it was quite impactful, especially as a socially inept kid in a small town. It changed how I viewed social interactions and made me realise it’s just another skill you can work at, with guidance even.
