This argues that BTC is not money based on the big 3 properties, without considering that BTC has been running only for 11 years. BTC/Gold is probably the best way to store wealth across time on a 10+ year time horizon without losing m

At this point, never trust a hardware wallet that stores your address. 270k people have become a target. If you have brought a hardware wallet recently, request them to delete your info, they have no reason to store it.

If you are part of the leaked info[1], you are basically a walking target(mine was leaked, I constantly get phishing emails). Trezor has had better service but this could as easily happen to them. To be really safe Coldcard is the best opti

Bitcoin is like any other software, the limitation is only on a social level. If it's a breaking change, you would need to convince enough people to migrate to Bitcoin2(similar to what's happening in ETH right now).

Ethereum operates on "Minimum viable issuance" so unlike Bitcoin there is no hard cap. Eth wont be deflationary until EIP-1559, maybe never.

Bitcoin has enough dev power to implement any feature, the gatekeepers are the people running the node and to a smaller extent the developers and miners. There is a reason Bitcoin just is.

The whole point is to move your idle capital to Bitcoin so you preserve it's value over time.

The issue was an implementation bug afaict and from official responses. Solana is clearly BFT, unlike what Emin claims. To be fair, I don't expect Solana to be as centralised as other chains only for the reason that you need a gaming r

The difference from "get rich from dogecoin" is that there is no downside(aside from smart contract risk). You could however be morally against earning interest through others speculating. In that case you could still earn better

Maybe it's not useful to you, maybe if you kept an open mind you could find some use! 1. There is $14.17B of value locked in DeFi, so it's clearly useful to someone(and scams don't account for the majority of it). 2. USD is n

I think of execution more in terms of the capability of a team to deliver something. This has more to do with founder & the teams passion, experience etc, which is fairly constant.
