That's a lot of hand-wavy claims. Care to back some of it up with data? Especially the part about China's economic growth being slower if they'd had stricter building codes. Absent any real data, it's equally intuitive to say that it wouldn

No. That's all it ever was. You get a "basic critical thinking" merit badge for realizing it.

Very uninformed article. Big distillers, like big anything, exist to make a profit via broad appeal. Many micro distillers are trying to be more interesting than that. Of course there are counter-examples on both sides. But Stranahan's (no

The fix for flying in the US is to finally, really invest in high speed rail all over the country. When you have the option of a roomy, relaxed seat on a train that doesn't take much longer (once the time spent in the airport is factored in

Haha, nothing to stop the junk except the "Next" button. Maybe some auto-rating based on time spent in a pairing session? Assumption being longer sessions mean useful work is getting done, but quick skips mean some doofus was showing his ju

This is one of those "I'm not like most people" moments. I find advertising SO much less annoying than paying for nothing. If you had asked me if this model would have caught on a few years ago, I'd have laughed at you. Shows what I know! I
