I call bullshit. High end Sony and ThinkPad laptops are the only laptops that match up to MacBooks in terms of screen, size, battery life, keyboard, trackpad, design, and durability. They are not cheaper.

I mostly agree with you, but my issue is that they were not using the hash of the emails. You can still match friends and alert users when a friend joins by only storing the hash of an email. Why store the whole address book unless you want

The typical user doesn't care about updates. Most iPhones I see have 15+ uninstalled updates. The response to every Facebook update shows that that the typical user will resist change. Why would silent updates be critical to these kinds of

You can advertise the values of the company but if you do then those values better show up in the product. If the values don't, then what is the point?

Firefox's track record in regard to privacy is a great reason to use. What I don't like is the support of products based on vague values that can't be tested. What does it really mean that Mozilla only cares about the web and not profits? T

I assume you never buy anything from a company. It pointless to try to prop up products despite it being worse. Open source project will not success in the long run unless it is better. Firefox being better at protecting privacy is a reason

Why are we looking at how much they make per play? $120 a year is still more than a would spend music before rdio. I assume the average customer spends less than $120. How is this not more profitable then selling discs?

The browser looked worse. I suspect that really slow dragging is still an issue in some places. It still is head and shoulders better than old versions and I confused the lack of bouncy scrolling with lag in menus.
