This is a great idea. I wonder how much state information we would have to track for this to be useful.

Max and I had a conversation about this piece and one thing we wanted to avoid was pigeonholing our bug reports into a category system like I've seen so many others do: Fill out 15 drop downs to describe the state of your machine when the b

Clearly video and PDF display are two different animals. Saying that performance blows on video and then using VLC as a comparison for JavaScript vs ActionScript performance is completely besides the point.

I'm a little disappointed there aren't more Amazon AWS features supported. It claims to support Cloudfront yet when I look at my S3 buckets, my CloudFront private repositories aren't showing up at all. It's sad that the best AWS/S3 client i

This will be a great step toward fixing a bunch of the big problems with Flash (for instance, how flaky the mouse wheel is in Flex applications). We're building our product in Flex and this will hopefully help us a great deal.

I'm not sure this matters for what I do mostly: Use Rails.vim where you are moving around typically with :Rmodel or :Rcontroller and splitting windows to see the implementation and test side-by-side.

They actually don't use HTTP, they use RTMP, try it yourself: Load up a Youtube video and scrub to the middle of the video. It will load to that very point even if it hasn't buffered that far yet.
