Funny how most US startups tend to be very public about who they are (you often see photos of the team on their websites),while EU startups tend to be very secretive about personal details (of course it might not be true when a company is h

> How does an arrow function's implicit bind(this) poses a problem or limits generality? Well you cant use it unbound. I dont want to declare functions bound to a scope I want a quick way to declare functions.

You can render react HTML components in node js without a headless browser, you cant do that with angular,so you can use react on the server.

Rails slowness just mean one thing, you'll have to spin more server instances for the same task that would have been faster in Java and would have needed less servers (though java eats a LOT of memory, so raw speed is not everything ).

Nimrod looks interesting, how does it compare to Go, as i see it works without a VM, like Go, and has async programming features.

I really hate the technical choice TC39 made with the arrow function. IT should have been a replacement for ANY kindof function. This is a total let down. Coffeescript syntax makes way more sense.

Choice is good , monoculture is not. The more frameworks we have to choose from, the better it is. I personally prefer the configuration over conventions thing, because I dont like magics, but I understand that kind of pragmatism.

Composite view management is made easy with React, much more difficult with string templates and Backbone views. There are Backbone plugins that help but they dont solve the problem at the source, innerHTMLing views is a bad solution to a dif

Well you need a router and a way to persist data.Does React offer this? How do I manage page changes with React? React only concern is the view afaik. An app is more than a view, even in the client. So react is not MVC,but you still need MVC
