I'm not sure what the use case for this is, but I've been using it as a inefficient messaging service with my girlfriend, ie: https://c1ic.link/campaign_WxjLdF_login_page_2.bat You seem to be able to encode arbitr

Well I do think that the main exacerbating factor in this case was the lack of proper permissions handling around that file-transfer endpoint. I know that if the user goes into YOLO mode, prompt injection becomes a statistics game, but this

I mean even Microsoft (that Titan of Lightning-Fast Development) has implemented a JPEG XL add-on, so now that Google's giving up the ghost, i think JPEG XL has a real chance. https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9MZP

In light of David Bowie's recent birthday and the anniversary of his passing, I thought I'd remind people of the Mac app he made with Ty Roberts. I don't think the original app is available, but this seems to be a fairly repr

I mean can't you go to privacy.apple.com, ask for an archive of your data, and then they'll email you the link to a zip file in a week or two? I'm pretty sure this is what my girlfriend did when she transitioned from an iPhon

Well to my understanding, half of the point of trademark in the US is to prevent 'consumer-confusion' regardless of company interest

It took me a second to realize this wasn't some cursor-style Microsoft replacement of SSMS, which would seem to lend some credibility to the potential for consumer confusion and trademark infringement, though of course IANAL

Of potential interest, listenbrainz supports uploading your Spotify backup raw, and will keep it all in a easily parseseable, query-able backup. Combine that with a good scrobbler, and you never need to be at Spotify's whims again

This is a constant frustration for me with Gemini. Especially since things like Deep Research and Canvas mode lock you in, seemingly arbitrary. LLMs to my understanding are Markovian prompt-to-prompt, so I don't see why this is an issu

Do you know if this is available in the actual web interface, and just not displayed, or is it just in the data export? If it is in the web, maybe a browser extension would be worth making.
