I grew up in Leicester and then later moved to Silicon Valley. I had several old computers in a cupboard at my parents’ home for years - Acorn Atom, Atari 800, Video Genie, Elan Enterprise - and was never able to muster enough energy to sch

You're right - still smaller but now 199 vs 448 bytes. Wonder if it can be made any smaller?

Anyone know how the controlled demolition works? I imagine something more sophisticated than a "radio controlled bomb" but maybe KISS.

I have noticed a huge uptick recently in emails (I use Gmail) from legitimate companies telling me the likes of: I registered but never logged in, I still have something in my cart or "thanks for your feedback - we'll be in touch&

I created streetviewr.com a few days after Street View launched in 2007 and ended up with some pretty fun images. After a couple of years, it became too much work to update and the domain lapsed. Kind of wished I'd kept it going.

Heh- I get quite a lot with content like: "Hi - Grandma here - so nice to see to see you last week and glad your studies are going well. I hope you liked the sweater I sent over. Lots of love." Still not sure if they're real

I've used Gmail since 2003 and consequently was (un)lucky enough to get my $FIRSTNAME@gmail.com - it's certainly handy but boy do I get a lot of spam - 3-400 hundred a day I expect. I've definitely noticed an uptick recently

Just brilliant. Thanks for sharing. I grew up going for long walks with my dad between villages along the disused railway and I remember crossing the bridge he mentions in the M1 piece many times. Used to love hearing stories from dad about

Awe inspiring - can anyone point me to a description of the scale we're looking at? I'm sure it must be unimaginably large. What is the distance between the two top "arms" for example? Edit: easier to find than I imagin

Thank you so much Emil - I have some old photos B/W of my dad who is no longer with us and have wanted to colorize them somehow for years. The results from just dropping the photos on your page - no tweaking or whatnot - are incredible

Thank you. Great info. I’ve a feeling not worrying about the electricity side of things and figuring out how to really make use of grey water will be the solution we arrive at but we’ll see.
