No, those aren’t the same thing. Tesla had to be forced to make their product safe by the regulator. If these updates are so easy and trivial in your mind, why doesn’t Tesla do them without being forced to?

The easiest way to stay out of the news for recalls is to not sell a defective product. If these software recalls are so easy to fix, why isn’t Tesla fixing them before being forced to?

This only works if Twilio successfully blocks the spam calls before they are forwarded. I guess I’m not surprised that Twilio does a much better job of it than any of the dinosaur carriers.

And yet none of the software GP mentioned are available on it.

That will never happen. Nobody will make real software for iOS because nobody wants to pay a 30% fee for the privilege of randomly having their whole business shut down when an app reviewer is in a bad mood.

Can you expand on your first sentence? Why does the US need diy solar? We don’t operate individual natural gas turbines in every house either for a lot of reasons, instead we invented the grid.
443.
by callalex 3y ago
I would bet the cost of the solar panels was only a fraction of the total costs. The fact of the matter is that individually owned and operated power generation doesn’t make sense for a variety of reasons, which is why we invented the power
