It just isn't viable to have unique passwords on all the different sites that require some sort of login, even with password tools. What if you have something you have to check on a computer where you can't use the tool, maybe not a interne

But it would stretch the animal term a bit to have six middle aged British men on the cover.

Nice, I usually check the emails I got during the night on my phone before I look out, so if I see a message saying it is a nice day, I'm sure I'll be fast to get up!

I don't mean paying more, as I have no reason to say that it will make them more effective. But using money on teachers can be anything from education to the environment the teachers have to teach in.

The problem is not with the OLPC, as said in the article it's problems with Peruvian education. And maybe it would have been wiser $225m on better teachers than giving the children a laptop. I really like the OLPC program, but there are ski

It seems as though HN had a nerdgasm, and now everybody wants to make an emulator for something that's not even released. What is the point of this? Everybody here knows it's possible to emulate a CPU in any Turing complete language, so why

Even funnier, Even is another Norwegian name. Meeting two Norwegians, you can hear "Hello, I'm Odd" "And I'm Even!"

This is just the same for me in Norway. The Norwegian layout has open curly brace on AltGr + 7, which is very painful when programming. US with AltGr is so nice, but it just makes me more of a weirdo up here..

How come the "nice designed" web sites is always the same, with the same font, large images, and soooo long to scroll. It's like a statement saying "we mind about design, we just don't have any creativity."

Depends on what you want from the framework. Django is good, but for a smaller blog, try pyblosxom, it's quite nice!

It might seem like it. I haven't got the time checking out the web site, but it seems as a "tech blog" as that site that commented on the Raspberry Pi being an ugly computer a little while ago.

I kind of followed the post up until they started talking about Windows 8. "Windows 8 surprised and excited the tech blogger world, something a Windows browser hasn't done since Windows 95." Do we live on the same planet? The feeling I got

I read another place that there were around 400 000 who tried to enter the system, but anyway. They implemented a "queue", where you had to manually refresh the browser to be able to log in. The whole thing is just crazy, the government has

It's against VIMs design philosophy to include a shell. The idea is that you shouldn't use shell (and other things) from vim, you should use vim from your shell. You have access to your shell by using the :! command.

I agree to a lot of the arguments, but for me most of them fits better to VIM. I really have nothing against Emacs, but I just happened to start learning VIM, and after that it's been hard to change. In my university, there's really only so
