I really agree with commenters who mention ergonomics as a reason NOT to spend a lot of hours in a coffee shop over a long period of time (months/years). I spent almost every work day in cafes for a couple years and feel like it was part of

Google fan boys can try and rationalize this decision all they want, but a few things are known. 1. Most people saw this announcement as 'business' decision by Google 2. This was not a decision driven by what is best for the average compute

Google as a business is well within it's rights to do whatever it wants to further it's business interests, and/or tick off it's competition. Let's just not keep saying it's all for the user.

The writer of the article was indeed very funny, but honestly anyone can be made to look like a buffoon if their words are taken out of context, and the results aren't examined. Personally, I'd recommend to anyone interested in health and f

Yes, actually - we all, at some point, get to be the final arbiters of deciding whether what what we said was offensive or not. (which I suppose also means that everyone else gets to decided to the final arbiter of whether they're offended

It's about any women (lesbians and non-lesbians alike) not actually being harassed, but rather just running around trying to enforce their own agenda on the world. My bottom line is this - if I say something to someone and did not mean any

I guess the 180-degree alternative to "women being harrassed" is the the Drupal community, in which a small, but very vocal, women run around and use 'women being harrassed' as a sledgehammer to intimidate and enforce their own standards of

As someone who was using macs even when there was a death watch on the entire company 1997-1999'ish I find all this wringing over patent fights to be silly. For better or worse, it's what companies do in this day and age. It's also hard for
