I'm surprised that they don't explain more their design choices (mainly the black bar).

Yep that must be because of copyright reasons as someone once pointed to me, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMG_v._MP3.com

I've seen this before in an other smaller extension (I can't remember which) while I was studying how it worked, but fortunatly the code was commented. Firefox extensions are just plain zip files, I wonder why he hasn't checked the code.

It's just like the websites that require you to login with Facebook first, I don't like that. I think it's important to be able to gauge a website without giving out personal info.

Whoa, that quiet ridiculous. Why wouldn't they hash/check the files before ? Is there any good reason ?

I have yet to find a way to clearly explain what I do to non-techies (intranet developper). I have seriously pondered to take some time working on an official title and job description for them.

In Europe 3700 euros (net) is a very large salary, except for a few big cities.

I wonder why Google prefers that you block a whole domain instead of a result (what searchwiki did). As said in another comment I wouldn't be confortable to block the whole expertsexchange.com domain, I get revelant results sometimes, yet s

Yes almost like a taxi, what I meant to say is that today you don't drive to work in a taxi because they are so expensive most of the time or inconvenient because few are available. If driverless cars became maintream I'm pretty sure it wou

Imagine cars on demand. You don't own a car, you text a car to get you to work at 8:30, the car picks you up at home, drops you off (no parking space required) and goes on to the next ride. I can't wait to see driverless cars.

The bouncing icon in the dock is definitely annoying. I think vista (and seven ?) handles softwares updates in a more friendly way, asking you if you want to do the updates when you shutdown the system.

I thinks "NoSQL" a bad name too. With NoSQL you would expect the opposite of a db managed by SQL when in fact it's something completetly different.
