A valid point. I've been using Workflowy for a few months (I'm a long-time "outliner aficionado" who has happily jumped into using this tool with both feet due to some HN postings), and when it comes to entering work/professional data, I m

I'm not aware whether it is or not. But once I saw how easy it was to remove a sticker-stack intact using a razor blade, I adopted the habit. The effort involved is minimal (I keep a single-edge razor blade in my toolbox for utility reaso

I use a razor blade to (a) remove all existing annual stickers from the plate (makes it harder to remove the top sticker intact), and (b) cut an "X" in the new sticker once I've applied it.

So, I, in California, buy something from Amazon, which pays Fedex to ship it from out of state to me. Fedex pays "gas taxes" in CA, and other CA taxes too[1]. If Fedex ships my pkg by air, there are at least additionally airport fees/taxe

I couldn't find any mention of (pre-PowerShell) MS batch (CMD.EXE, COMMAND.COM) language. At the shop I work at, WinXP is still the standard platform, and .BAT the first line scripting language. It's nauseating; the threshold at which I t

Let's not forget to also be pissed at the "fourth estate" which offered not a single whit of criticism of Obama's ridiculous statements throughout the primary and presidential campaigns, and instead acted solely as his cheerleaders.
