I've had good luck with nearlyfreespeech.net for a while now (pre go-daddy exodus). The only reason I had a domain @go daddy is that nfs doesn't do the .me tld. That domain is being moved to namecheap.

The emacs wiki is a good place to start: http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/CategoryDotEmacs > Unfortunately, emacs seems to be less mainstream right now I don't know about the popularity of emacs vs. VI right now (I'd suspect that it's f

In all fairness, this press release should be read in context with this other one: http://www.godaddy.com/newscenter/release-view.aspx?news_ite... I'm not defending go daddy (my comment elsewhere in this thread still stands), but this rel

I agree. I'd want to see some statement about why they've been removed from this list. As of right now, this "press release" doesn't say anything interesting, and seems to have a "grudging" tone. Additionally, Before I changed my mind about

Why would this be any better than just passing in a map of the parameters as the sole parameter? myFunction($parms=array()) { ... } $parms = array('foo' => 'bar', 'baz' => 'yaz'); test($parms);

Wow! The link to the "new" PowerBook 1400 models is quite interesting. You can get: * 133MHz 128K L2 Processor * 16MB RAM * 1.0GB Drive * 6X-CD/Floppy For only $4000.00! Who still thinks macbooks are expensive now?

That is very obviously what the photos appear to be. The discussion here is about whether, as the article claims, there is something else evident/hidden in these photographs.

The article makes it sound to me like the original letter/photos were actual printer/paper, not digital.

Presumably? If these photos were taken for proof/evidence they just don't cut it, especially coming from a security specialist/professional. ... Or, they could just be a photos of a shoddy light fixture installation.

He gives two examples in the same article; "Try to use it at work" and "Get involved in an open-source project". If you're in a java shop and learning Python, have a look at jython and see where you can use it for testing, automation, etc.

He didn't say "I couldn't live here", he said "I would die if I had to live here!" which I don't think can be considered a neutral statement. Regarding the squirming, He'd likely be better off by apologizing for making a stupid statement.
