I'm not a a lawyer, but according to the first google result "the Uniform Commercial Code [...] requires that contracts for the sale of goods over $500 to be in writing".[1] In practice, this doesn't seem to mean tha

...when the democracy began to unravel, the law was used as a weapon against enemies, and the rule of law was replaced by mob rule with different factions warring in the streets. This could have easily been written about the late 1960s &#

It's not that they didn't realise they were on the same frequency - it's that 2.4Ghz was really the only suitable unlicensed ISM band available. There's other devices there too - 2.4Ghz DECT phones for example when land

Gravitational attraction is a function of both objects, so the force between them is not a constant, same as for the electron. The way that varies is always in proportion to the object's inertial mass though, which has the result t

Sure, but the phrase "it's a force with a magnitude that is proportional to the mass" is like me asking "how heavy are you?" and you replying "75 liters", expecting me to know that humans are basically th

That's undecidable and gravity is not special in that way How so? You can have different electric charge to inertial mass ratios, but that is not so for gravitational mass to inertial mass.

You can't create a similar transformation for an electric field under which the motion of a proton, electron, muon etc are all straight lines. The indicator that gravity is special is the fact that 'inertial mass' and 'g

In Newtonian physics it's a force with a magnitude that is proportional to the mass of the body. For two different objects at the same point in the same gravitational field, the difference in gravitational force due to their differing

Yeah we got a bunch of 8-bit NE1000 cards for free and did the same thing around that time. I remember the three-step setup process of LSL / NE1000 / IPXODI. The file sharing thing might have been NWLite?

It is worth stating this explicitly - NIST has in fact done the practical experiments to demonstrate time dilation at both 10ms⁻¹ relative velocity and 1m relative height in Earth's gravitational well: https://tsapps.nist.go
