I think it's much more likely that ADHD is N different things and Autism is M different things, where there is some overlap between N and M. I get what you're saying, I just think in order to really progress how we understand/

Maybe universities in general have this problem but Harvard most certainly does not.

It's not a hotel, it's some sort of corporate subletting situation. These people broke into an apartment unit. >7% of home burglaries resulted in a violent encounter. Given that only ~27% of the time someone was even home that&

A dude swiping some snacks from Target I can understand, but people that break into private residences are definitely a threat to society. It is easy for that to escalate into a violent encounter and it makes people feel legitimately unsafe

The algorithmic news feed incentivizes misinformation in a way that the old chronological feed did not. Facebook absolutely helped to create this situation in the first place.

The first time I smoked a lot of weed I felt like if I didn't focus really hard on the present I would go back in time. I was still functioning enough to know that could not be real, but it sure felt that way. I didn't realize unt

Degrees are really straightforward to verify (at least from any accredited domestic school), a standard new hire background check would catch this. Obviously tech companies just don't think the degree is a super valuable signal, which

That seems like a really inefficient way to filter out people who don't have a CS degree, given that you enter your degree info on the app (and they background check all hires). I agree with you though, I don't understand why the

Purely from a weight loss perspective that's probably true, but in the long run there are other issues with being too sedentary. So I think this is still an important thing to be mindful of with the shift to WFH.

I don't think it needs to be an XOR. Being forced to cram a very rigid curriculum was not conducive to learning for me. But with no external pressure at all I also find it hard to deeply learn about a topic (I bounce around a lot). For

This may be a problem, but it is not a problem at the level of the university IME. Universities are happy with any research that brings in a good amount of grant money. Sure it is gravy when they can make money on something like CRISPR, but
